The Fenner House, which we call a “California Sushi” design, has been featured in a new book entitled “Asian Influenced Architecture & Design” by E. Ashley Rooney, Schiffer Publishing Limited.

The 2009 Passive Solar Architecture Pocket Reference was made available by the International Solar Energy Society. This handy guide contains basic technical information from the definitions to the specific functions of passive solar architecture. David Wright, AIA, contributed the definition and graphics for “mean radiant temperature,” page 33 as well as his book The Passive Solar Primer included in the helpful bibliography. It is available through the International Solar Energy Society.
